Cotton Candy Clouds II

I recently finished a special commission for a new client based on a photograph I took back in 2014. At the time, I tended bar at the Boathouse on the Pier at Timber Cove. My favorite part of that job was watching the sunset every night from the “crow’s nest”. Even in the heat and fast-pace craze of happy hour, I could always turn around to face the lake while I poured a drink, take a deep breath and smile in gratitude of the loveliness that is Lake Tahoe.

I sold the original painting to a dear friend and loved it, so I was very happy to pull out the old image and repaint it. Cotton Candy Clouds: view from the boathouse

I love the result. Im going to paint it again in a panoramic form for my house. What do you think? CCCII
